Hi! Over the years, Dyngus.com was the place to see pictures and stories from my Dyngus Day adventures. Since those days are behind me, I decided to update things a little and focus on the new adventures shared by me and my wife Meg. Look around and plan on checking back. We will be filling the pages with pictures and stories. Enjoy your visit! -Steve

Well, quite a bit has happened since the last time we wrote an article for the site! As you know by now, we are expecting our first child on Feb. 8. We recently had the "20 week" ultrasound and learned, with 99% certaintity, that we're having a girl! The name we have chosen is Addison Sierra. Meg and the baby are both doing very well. We have been busy getting things ready for the baby. The nursery is coming along nicely. The room is yellow, and we are decorating it with a primary color theme. My dad is hand-crafting a crib and changing table / dresser for us. We can't wait to see the finished product! The next big project for the room is a monitoring system. I am in the process of putting this together. My plan so far is to install a closed-circuit video camera that will be accessible from all of the tvs in the house, as well a portable monitor that we could carry around the house. Plans are underway for a baby shower. More information and invitations will be sent out very soon. :) In case you are wondering, we have a few registries set up: Target
Baby Depot (at Burlington Coat Factory) (Registry Number 12759404) Diapers, Etc. We'd like to thank everyone, especially our families, for all of the love, help and support!

We received the official ultrasound report from the doctor's office yesterday. Everything checks out normally; brain, heart, spinal chord, limbs, etc. The doctor decided NOT to change the original due date, so its back to Jan. 29. He said Addison will most likely be a little on the small side. Other than that, no new news.

It's been a while since the last update. We're 14 days away from the due date and everything is going great! Yesterday we thought for sure Addie was coming very soon. Meg was having regular contractions all day at about 6 or 7 minutes apart. Then, last night, they stopped. So I guess we're back in "hurry up and wait" mode again. We are both very excited and anxious! Meg is doing great, aside from the discomfort which can be expected at this stage. I guess that about wraps it up for now. Steve
